RAP equips youth professionals, such as educators and social workers, with tools to foster inclusion and manage the complexity of youth work. It focuses on power dynamics, empowerment, and accountability, offering guidelines on Anti-Oppressive Practices. The workbook enhances professionals’ skills in addressing power-related issues in helping relationships, allowing them to better support young people in diverse settings. It helps develop a professional stance that values diversity and fosters empowering, accountable youth work environments.
Who is behind RAP
The partners behind the project have deep knowledge of the challenges and problem related to social and economic active citizenship of young people at risk of social exclusion, the role their community leaders play, the needs and concerns of the professionals working with them and specific knowledge on approaches that could enhance the skills of these professionals and contribute to empowerment and creating a sense of agency.
